Frequently Asked Questions/Links
Do you subscribe to a professional Code of Ethics?
Yes. I work to the same standards in my private work as my voluntary work for Cruse Bereavement Care - standards that are set down by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy through their ‘Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy’.
Have you been subjected to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) or Police check?
Yes I have been both CRB checked at enhanced level and Police vetted.
What are your fees?
My fee is £35 per hour (exludes guidance/assistance with funeral arrangements which is a Fixed Fee and not an hourly rate). Payment can be made by an interest free instalment plan for those on low income that can exceed the duration of counselling/support if necessary, making this an affordable option for everyone. Please see example below.
Example: 12 weekly sessions of 1 hour duration would span a period of 3 months and would cost a total of £420 - the monthly repayment of this cost over the period of a year works out at only £35 per month. Other rates are available.
Do you have Supervision?
Yes I have regular Supervision.
